I believe that we should eat like we love ourselves.


We should honor the value of the food we put into our bodies and make conscious choices about how we fuel ourselves every day.

I believe that great habits around food and eating last a lifetime: we have the opportunity to re-teach ourselves what it means to feel fantastic with every bite we take. It is miraculous what more plants and more real food can do for the body.

I also believe that the influence of our environment and the people around us key pieces to finding our most thriving selves. Food doesn’t exist in a vacuum, so we need to look at all the factors impacting what, when, and why we eat. Time-efficient, delicious nourishing options do exist. 

One mindful, positive change at a time, we can find a way to live life full of gratitude, strength, and joy.

Personally, I didn't always know the positive power of health - specifically when it came to food; instead, what I knew was the hypnotic effect it had on my whole being. I knew of its ability to calm, distract, entertain, and of its strength to subvert everyone and everything in my world to become the #1 priority.

I began gaining weight at age 10, unaware that I was setting myself up for sickness, body image issues, and anxiety later in life. By 18, I was fifty pounds overweight, struggling with medical problems, and not at all at home in my own body. I decided to make a change: to choose to be the person I knew I was capable of being.

I chose vegetables.
I chose to break up with gluten.
I chose exercise.
I chose to make my relationships a priority and to pursue fulfilling activities.
I chose to prove to myself that I could be someone I didn't think I was capable of being. 

When I lost weight, I lost self-doubt and fear. My life - and my health - have completely changed, and I am so thankful for the impact of these little shifts. I now live in New York City with my wonderful husband and our sweet dog; practicing yoga, running in Central Park, cooking awesomely delicious food every day, and striving to eat as healthfully and ethically as possible. I live every day with a sense of self-acceptance, strength, and confidence.

The best part of my work is being able to help other women, like myself, discover their own capacity to thrive -- and how this touches every other aspect of their lives -- from career to relationships to creating a sense of self.

my training

I am a Certified Holistic Health Coach (CHHC) and I am certified by the American Association for Drugless Practitioners (AADP). I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition's cutting-edge Health Coach Training Program. 

During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. My teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.

My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health. Drawing on these skills and my knowledge of different dietary theories, I work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.

I also hold an Honours BA in Theatre, with a concentration in Neuropsychology, from the University of British Columbia.
